Where to Get Free Music:
Yes, there are still places out there where you can download free music. You just have to be careful and do a little research to make sure you are playing by the "rules" and aren't breaking any laws. Copyright laws can be confusing in this day and age. There are ways that companies can license music so as not to infringe copyright laws. Just be careful and know what you are doing. There are a ton of streaming radio stations out there. AOL has AOL radio, which streams live music. There are also sites that offer free music and other things through "file-sharing". I know many people who have taken advantage of "file-sharing" and nothing usually comes of it. However, there are some rare cases, where money-grabbing record companies, licencees, and copyright owners have gone after "file-sharers". The idea of "file-sharing" and giving and recieving copyrighted material on the Internet continues to be a controversial subject in the music industry. Only time will tell what will come of it. In the meantime: be careful and know what you are doing.
